Stress?? Include this in your diet.. :)

Hello, aslmualaikum. In this entry, i would like to share with you about the food that help to reduce stress. Sometimes, due to certain situation such as a lot of assignment, so many work to be done at the office or facing with trouble anywhere..it make us stress, tension & moody. At last, it will reduce our performance. One way that we can do to reduce the stress is by including these menu in our diet. Try it! Hehe..

Food that helps to reduce stress

1. Green vegetable.
Broccoli, asparagus, and other dark green vegetables are enrich in vitamins & minerals that help replenish our bodies in times of stress. Many vegetables also contain potassium, which is good for our nerves and can calm them. Asparagus contains folic acid that can help to stabilize our mood. Eating certain vitamins and minerals like folic acid and  vitamins B can help keep our mood steady because they're needed to produce serotonin, which is a chemical that directly affects mood in a positive way. I love broccoli, but really can't swallow asparagus at all. Just can't accept the taste.. :-(

2. Milk + Cereal
Milk is high in antioxidants and vitamins B2 and B12. It is also high in protein, and protein helps to stabilize blood sugar level. Try to have a bowl of whole-grain cereal or cornflakes and low-fat milk in the morning to start our day with a great combinations of stress-fighting breakfast. It’s because whole grain cereal & cornflakes also enrich in folic acid & vitamins B to help reduce stress! My favourites menu for breakfast.. wuwu

3. Almonds
A good source of Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) and E, as well as magnesium and zinc. Although almonds are high in fat, but most of the fat is unsaturated. Just like vitamin C, vitamin E has been shown to fight the free radicals associated with stress & heart disease
Tara Geise, a registered dietitian (RD) & a spokesperson for American Dietetic Association.

4. Bananas

Bananas are high in potassium, which aids in the regulation of blood pressure. Other fruits and vegetables also contain potassium, but it’s especially high in bananas. In addition to stress benefits, bananas can also relieve heartburn and keep your blood sugar levels up. If you find yourself lagging in energy and need a boost especially in the afternoon then bananas are the food stuff to do it. Can't eat so much bananas because i have allergic on it.
